In his book Beautiful Things, Hunter writes that he first met who he refers to as Bicycles/Rhea when a senior at Georgetown. Bicycles, a homeless crack addict, helped Hunter buy crack after he was ripped off during his first attempt to purchase the drug. According to Hunter, the two would reconnect in 2016 and live together for a number of months.(85)(86)

Ten days after the trip, a subsidiary of the Bank of China signed a deal with Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, to form a $1 billion joint-venture investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST. The name of the fund reflected who was involved. Bohai (or Bo Hai), the innermost gulf of the Yellow Sea, was a reference to the Chinese stake in the company. The “RS” referred to Rosemont Seneca. The “T” was Thornton. The purpose of this company was to invest Chinese capital in companies outside of China. (37)(41)(42)(89)
Hunter held an unpaid position on BHR’s board of directors while his father was in office and became a shareholder with a 10% stake in the company in Oct. 2017. As of Oct. 2019, when he resigned from the board of directors, his attorney stated he had not received any compensation or return on his investment.(39) In November of 2021 a lawyer for Biden, told the New York Times that his client "no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in either BHR or Skaneateles," the LLC wholly owned by Biden that held his 10% ownership stake in the Chinese investment firm. But news outlets reported in March of 2022 that business records from China's National Credit Information Publicity System still identifies Skaneateles as a 10% owner in BHR, and Washington, D.C., business records continue to list Biden as the only beneficial owner of Skaneateles.(37)(42)

George Kent, a US embassy official in Kyiv, would tell the US Justice Department that Burisma had paid a $7 million bribe to Ukrainian prosecutors sometime between May and December 2014 to kill the investigation, according to investigative journalist John Solomon from Just the News. Kent wrote that Yarema was “responsible for the outrage.” After a fiery meeting with Kent and another US official in February 2015, Yarema quit as chief prosecutor.(74)
Rick Leach, founder of World Food Program USA, emailed Hunter at 11:15 p.m. to thank him after the dinner: “What a fantastic and productive evening—thank you!” Kazakhstan banker Holtzman emailed: “Deer [sic] Hunter, Thank you for an amazing evening, wonderful company and great conversation. I look forward to seeing you soon and to many opportunities to work closely together.” Hunter does not name the other two Kazakhstan representatives on his guest list, but an unverified photograph posted on anti-corruption website Kazakhstani Initiative on Asset Recovery in 2019 offers a clue. A smiling Joe Biden and Hunter are seen alongside Kazakhstan’s then- Prime Minister Karim Massimov and junior oligarch Kenes Rakishev, thirty- four, in the photograph, which appears to have been taken that night at the Cafe Milano. The following day, on April 17, Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma sent Hunter Biden an email, thanking him for a meeting with Joe Biden. “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,”
The Biden campaign told USA Today, in December 2020, that it “categorically denied a meeting ever happened.” “The Biden campaign, after a comprehensive review, had said a meeting never took place between Joe Biden and Pozharskyi,” wrote Glenn Kessler, the Washington Post fact-checker.
But in June 2021, after the New York Post published further details of the meeting, including that it was a dinner where Joe met multiple business associates of Hunter’s, the White House came clean.
After eight months of denials and stonewalling, an unnamed “White House individual with knowledge of Joe Biden’s schedules” told Kessler that the VP did go to Cafe Milano that night but “only dropped by briefly to meet with one of the guests” and “there was no discussion of politics or business.”
But of course, that’s not how it works. Joe just has to show up and shake hands. All that matters is that Hunter demonstrates his pulling power. The White House source claimed that Joe’s attendance was not listed on his official schedule because he only decided to “drop by” at the last minute “after the schedule was completed.” Yet Hunter had been telling his guests for three weeks that his father would be at the dinner.

Nine months later, under Shokin’s successor as prosecutor general, the politician Yuriy Lutsenko, all legal proceedings against Zlochevsky and Burisma were dropped.

Hunter Biden and his associate, Archer, had a financial relationship with Russian businesswoman Elena Baturina. Baturina is the former wife of the late Yuri Luzhkov, who was the mayor of Moscow and was fired in 2010 by then-Russian president Dmitry Medvedev over corruption allegations. Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor. According to reporting, “Luzhkov used his position as mayor to approve over 20 real estate projects that were built by a Baturina-owned construction company and ultimately generated multibillion-ruble profits for his family.” In addition, a Russian investigation led to a criminal case against the former head of the Bank of Moscow, Andrey Borodin, who “allegedly used money from the Moscow City Budget to lend money to shell companies, which ultimately transferred $443 million to Baturina.” On Feb. 14, 2014, Baturina wired $3.5 million to a Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC (Rosemont Seneca Thornton) bank account for a “Consultancy Agreement DD12.02.2014.” Rosemont Seneca Thornton is an investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden that was incorporated on May 28, 2013 in Wilmington, Del. According to The Financial Times, Rosemont Seneca Thornton is a consortium that consists of Rosemont Seneca Partners and the Thornton Group, a Massachusetts-based firm. On April 22, 2014, Vice President Joe Biden appeared with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arsemy Yasenyuk and addressed Ukrainian legislators in Kyiv regarding Russia invading Crimea. The same day, Novatus Holding PTE. LTD. (Novatus Holding), a private holding company in Singapore, used a Latvian bank to wire $142,300 to Archer’s company, Rosemont Seneca Bohai. The currency transaction report states, “For Rosemont Seneca Bohai LLC, … For a Car.” According to a Securities and Exchange Commission report, Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan is the sole shareholder of Novatus Holding and has a business address associated with a company in Kazakhstan called SAT & Company. Rakishev is the son-in-law of now retired Kazakhstan politician, Imangali Tasmagambetov. At the time that Rakishev sent the money to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, Tasmagambetov was serving as the mayor of Astana (now called Nur-Sultan), the capital city of Kazakhstan. Tasmagambetov is reportedly a longtime confidant of then-President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Tasmagambetov has since served as prime minister of Kazakhstan as well as Kazakh ambassador to Russia.
At the time of Vice President Biden’s visit to Kyiv, there were divided opinions in Kazakhstan over Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the international situation had produced tension in the region generally. Nazarbayev’s government reportedly shifted positions over time, and Nazarbayev reportedly made some statements supportive of Russia’s actions. Given Rakishev’s close connection to political leadership in Kazakhstan, the tense political situation, Hunter Biden’s longstanding relationship with Archer and involvement in transactions with Rosemont Seneca Bohai, and the fact that the payment was timed perfectly with Vice President Biden’s visit to Kyiv to discuss U.S. sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Crimea, the April 22, 2014 payment from Rakishev to Rosemont Seneca Bohai raises serious questions. It is unclear why a foreign company, Novatus Holding, would purchase a $142,300 car for Rosemont Seneca Bohai when the company does not deal in vehicles.(37)
The $142,300 was used to purchase a Fisker Karma for Hunter Biden from a New Jersey dealership. Hunter eventually traded in his Fisker fora silver Porshe.(68)

That letter appeared to be crucial in a British judge’s decision to rule against the Serious Fraud Squad. Though the purported reason for the dinner was to discuss food security, it appears the true purpose was to provide his partners an opportunity to meet his father, Joe Biden. “Ok—the reason for the dinner is ostensibly to discuss food security,” writes Hunter on March 26 to Michael Karloutsos, with whom he had been discussing a business deal in Greece involving eco-friendly trains from China.
“Dad will be there but keep that between us for now. Thanks.” Karloutsos replies: “Everything is between us. All good”!... I know you mentioned your dad would probably join the dinner as well.”

Hunter enrolled as an outpatient in the Charles O’Brien Center for Addiction Treatment, at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was prescribed two drugs, one to lessen his cravings and another to make him feel nauseated if he drank. He made various other attempts to transfer the money until he was successful and Yanna leaves. But over the next few hours, the transactions he thought had failed go through, one after the other. The receipts he saved on his computer show about $25,000 moved in under an hour with another $3,500 scheduled to transfer out. Hunter then received messages from Gulnora: “There is many transactions on my account,” she texts. “From last night 8k, 8k, 3500k. So get back with me when you can. So I can transfer back to you. Savage was once the Secret Service’s special agent in charge of the Los Angeles field office and a contact card for him appears on the laptop, with a photographic avatar, phone number and Secret Service email address. The Secret Service told The New York Post that Savage retired from the agency on April 30, 2018 — weeks before the Biden debauchery — and that the agency “did not provide protection to any member of the Biden family in 2018.” Savage’s lawyer stated, “My client has never met or communicated with Hunter Biden.” The activity recorded on Hunter’s devices shows Savage sent Hunter an urgent missive on May 24 at 6:37 p.m.: “H – I’m in the lobby come down. Thanks, Rob.” Hunter replies: “5 minutes.” Five minutes later, Savage texts again: “Come on H, this is linked to Celtic’s account. DC is calling me every 10. Let me up or come down. Was it a shared account? Hunter replied: “I promise be right down. Sorry.” Five minutes later, Savage texts Hunter again to say that Dale Pupillo, a retired deputy assistant director of the Secret Service, who used to guard his father, has arrived. Invoices indicate that Pupillo did background checks for Hunter on potential business partners. “He’s going to front desk, call and tell them to give us a key now H. “As your friend, we need to resolve this in the immediate. “Call the front desk now H or I will have to assume you are in danger and we will have to make them give us the keys.” For nine minutes, Hunter does not reply. “Really, Rob I am coming down right now,” Hunter texts at 6:54 p.m. “I really promise. 1) On The Eric Metaxas Radio Show dated March 2, 2021, Maxey says that one of the videos from the laptop shows Hunter Biden smoking some drug with a prostitute. She asks him if he's worried about blackmail with all these videos of him smoking crack, etc. He says he's already screwed due to some Russian guys he was partying with stealing one of his laptops. The DailyMail released this video to the public on August 11, 2021. The fact that Maxey talked about the video 5 months before it was released by the Daily Mail certainly adds to his credibility. On the other hand, he has made statements that he has recovered massive amounts of additional information from the hard drive which some have said is impossible.
